Homemade Fruit-Rolls

All natural Fruit-Rolls
Blend 3 cups fruit, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar or honey (prefer sugar).  Bake on lowest temp (150 degrees) for 6-8 hours or until no longer tacky.

Cool Completely.  Place sheet of wax paper over fruit sheet.  Flip over and peel off silicone baking sheet.  Roll up the entire sheet of wax lined fruit.

Use a good pair of kitchen shears to cut into even segments.

Rolls will be flat after cutting.  Pinch lightly between fingers to return to shape.  Store in airtight container at room temperature or freeze.

Ready-Dozen Workshop

We are at it again with another successful day of packaging Meals-In-A-Jar.

We had three new friends join us for the first time.  They LOVED it! (as did we veterans)

This time we each made a dozen of the Chicken, Broccoli & Rice dish, using the "Ready-Dozen" technique.  Reports are already coming in that they were a hit at home with the families! -Hey, we're supposed to save some!  These suckers last 5 years.  Oh, whatever.... We can always make more.
